Morgan & Rob Tie the Knot - Colorful Orange Art Gallery Wedding that is anything but traditional

I don’t even know where to start with these two. Right from the beginning we hit it off, I seriously feel like I’ve found my people this season, and it’s absolutely beautiful to feel such connections. These two are both creative open and collaborative souls who very much wanted to make this day theirs.
Morgan refused to purchase a typical white wedding dress, opting instead for a custom blue velvet gown that she knew she would wear again. She also decided to give a color palette rather than choose dresses for her bridesmaids, letting their own personalities shine through their outfits, and the theme was continued through the entire wedding. The venue itself seemed a very fitting choice when art plays such an important part in their lives. The venue, the colours, the flowers and most of all the people created such a warming supportive environment for these two to tie the knot.
I can’t even describe my favorite little details (Y’all know details are my jam) so lets just dive in with pictures, they really do speak for themselves.

Getting ready and creating their own florals took place in another fitting space; their Airbnb was called the art house :D Makeup was a simple affair, the ladies helped each other get ready and spent quality time together. Soft light portraits captured the wonderful feminine energy <3

Orange Art Gallery is 100% my new favorite venue. I mean, it speaks for itself. Mid October was a fantastic time for the ivy that covers the outside of their building!!

After an adorable first look we threw in some quick portraits before the day got going!!

The ceremony space was absolutely stunning; I have never worked in a venue that had such perfect lighting. The streams coming through these windows seriously set the tone for an intimate and emotional ceremony. From his moms heartfelt speech, to her dad pulling out a cape and wand to show his support of his daughters love of Harry Potter, there were many laughs and tears. After their hands were tied with a cord lovingly created and blessed by the bride, we headed outside for group portraits.

Can I just say again how frickin impressed I was by this group? They seriously killed the fashion game, the outfits on both sides were incredible.
And then we get to the super cool portraits, we went over to the water to catch sunset and make some magic. Double exposures EVERYWHERE for this magical couple.

Lastly, the speeches and funnest thing I’ve ever seen happen at a wedding; the bride and her dads first dance to the Timewarp. HAVE YOU EVER HAD A BETTER FIRST DANCE SONG?!

I couldn’t guys, seriously couldn’t. These humans are incredible and I’m severely honoured to be a part of their celebrations.

So. Much. Love.

Finally, please note the incredible book the bride was gifted for research going into this marriage 🤣
